Low sprinkler pressure in one zone?
Usually clogged nozzles or filters, a valve that isn’t opening fully, or too many heads on one zone.
Check this first
- Clean the nozzles: unscrew each nozzle, remove the filter and rinse both (Rain Bird).
- Open the flow control. Make sure the valve’s flow control is set properly, if your valve has one (Hunter).
- Clear the solenoid ports. Debris there can keep a valve from opening fully (Hunter).
- Too many heads? Rain Bird lists reducing the number of sprays per zone (valve) as the fix for insufficient flow (Rain Bird). That means splitting the zone with another valve: see adding a zone.
